BCM Welcomes Division 6!
We're super excited to announce Big City Music will be carrying products from Division 6. This includes the Midify boards and the brand new Filtare eurorack module. The Midify boards allow you to add midi control to just about anything. The new Filtare SEIII is a beautiful sounding multimode filter based on the SSM2040 from the famed Prophet 5(revs 1 and 2). Modules should be available soon. Stay tuned.

OTO Biscuit Step Filter
We're running the Elektron Machinedrum into the right side and the KCP Utopia Synth into the left. This video demonstrates the Biscuit's super-fun step filter function. The Biscuit is synced via MIDI clock to the Machinedrum and we're inputting various filter cutoff values for different steps. Analog filter sequencing is fun. And it's an awesome sounding multimode filter too! You can also change the subdivision of the sequence and if the sequence should run forward, back and forth or randomly. We'll showcase the 8-bit pitch shifter, wave shaper and delay functions on the next Biscuit video;)

Metasonix r54 Tube VCO/VCF Sounds
This is the new and incredible sounding Metasonix r54 Supermodule vacuum tube oscillator and filter. This is a very simple patch just to give you and idea of the tones. The Analogue Solutions Oberkorn III is sequencing our pitch and gate control voltages. The Malekko/Wiard Envelator is our envelope generator and it's controlling the Metasonix r51 VCA. All tube modular sounds! More videos soon, including processing audio through the r54's filter and crazy FM and gnarly Metasonix tones. Available now.

New Elektron Octatrack and +Drive!
The Octatrack is designed to revolutionize the concept of sampling. Recording sounds is a breeze thanks to the intuitive user interface, but the fun really starts once the samples are inside the machine. Loops are now completely elastic. Cut up and rearrange them in real time. They will always stay in sync no matter if they are pitch shifted or if the tempo of the sequencer is changed. Single sounds can be molded into any shape or form. The static nature of samples is finally a thing of the past.
The Compact Flash card allows for huge amounts of samples to be constantly accessible. The USB port is ideal when transfering sample libraries between your computer and the Octatrack. The optical fader can be assigned to any of the parameters, adding a wealth of live control possibilities.
8 stereo tracks | 4 audio inputs | 4 audio outputs | Separate Headphone Output | USB 2.0 port | Compact Flash Card Reader | Optical Fader | Improved Elektron Sequencer | Realtime pitch shift and time stretch | Real Time Sampling | 2 Effect blocks per track
AND......The +Drive gives a significant boost to the Machinedrum and Monomachine storage capabilities. Everything is basically multiplied with a factor of 128. Thousands of patterns, sounds and songs can be stored internally and more or less instantly recalled. The Machinedrum SPS1-UW+ MKII can now host over 6000 samples. The Monomachine SFX-60+ MKII can be loaded with more than 8000 user waveforms.

BCM Welcomes Source Audio Pedals
Big City Music is happy to offer the intriguing line of pedals from Source Audio. Their Multiwave distortion series offers a unique digital alternative to analog distortion pedals. We're also really excited about the possibilities of the Hot Hand wireless controller. The motion sensor is actually a ring you wear on your finger. The motion of your hand can control different parameters. You can control the sweep of the Hot Hand Wah pedal or use the MIDI-EXP pedal to send wireless midi info to your favorite synth or software. Awesome!
